Huberdeau seemed fine signing jerseys on Saturday. Maybe he is concussed

Yeah, and signing jerseys is only a little bit less strenuous than skating hard in a competitive professional hockey game.

Was he using his left knee or right knee to sign the jerseys?

I don't understand having both Lomberg and Kirkland ahead of Pospisil to start the season.

The 12th/13th forward won't make or break the Flames' but Pospisil is a better player than either, and I think he should be in the lineup against EDM.

Ras and Blake are going. One of two deals, who knows? To Dallas? Has to be.

High value players, don't fit the window, fixes roster if they depart.

You can't really trade the other guys unless we are excited by late picks or future considerations.

Yeah, that has to be just a practice thing while they find a new home for Ras.

Same thing, there must be a move brewing. Maybe involving him.

Even with Gridin in the AHL, when Huby is back this team is loaded up with way too much bottom six players. Move/waive some.

Parekh likely a healthy scratch then? He'll be given the assignment of watching the NHL game

In my opinion, Pospisil is not a option at center,

No! That would suck. Imagine being judged based on your ability to carry Bean in the pre-season.

I choose to be optimistic, some deal coming up to clear the logjam.

Flames center should be Kadri, Frost, Backlund and Morton.

Kirkland and lomberg should be extras. Where lomberg subs in when needed on lw.

On the road against Edmonton, guess Parekh is considered too much of a risk? Interesting if that's the rationale.

Yeah, Lombo brings good vibes and punches. Don't need punches every night, and good vibes work from the press box too.

Isn't he a little banged up?

Yeah. They probably think Parekh-bean could get exposed against the McDavid-Draisaitl line so avoiding that being his first game of the season. Especially since they won’t have the last change.
