All the best to Brad Larsen, but I like this addition for the Flames.

Wasn't there some bad blood between the Flames and Lowry after he left the org? Could be someone else I'm thinking of.

Conroy has a lot of respect for him.

This from 2022.

Good pick up.

Wonder what Larson’s issues were. Hopefully not health related or anything like that.

Didn’t Larson take leave last year for a family illness? Might be ongoing? Either way I wish him the best and welcome Lowry!

Always liked Lowry as a player, seems like a good hire as an assistant based on his CV. Also has a pretty good record in the WHL.

All the best to Larsen as well.

Unless I am mistaken He was involved with player development and handling the defensive side of the game with the Kraken ?

I think Lowry has a solid resume, but yeah, it certainly feels like Connie collecting 2000s era former Flames like they're infinity stones.

I never said it was a bad hire, just that it seems like Conroy likes to hire those friends he made in the game.

Larsen, then Cull handled the PK
Lambert handled the PP

Cull was really good with PK, so it would make sense to keep him there. If so, is Lowry or Maclean the PP coach?

I had to double check, apparently I was a good decade off with his resume. It feels like just a few years ago he was with the Hitmen. Can't believe he has 7 years at the NHL already.
