Default Batch 3 winners

Ok folks here are the results of Batch 3.
24 hours to appeal as usual. I tried to minimize errors but with so many offers there’s always a chance for mistakes.

I need to look at what remains, but I think we will move to the first of two open batches, where all remaining players will be available. The first open batch round, you need cap space for your offers. The second is open batch, where you can make offers without needing the cap space. We call that round “dumpster diving”. This year, given rosters, we can also call it “How the Bruins will build a team” 😊

I dislike that I did not get every player I bid on. I would like Simmer taken out back and shot.

My main target was Middleton, so for once that actually worked out! I think that he is a very underrated player.

Might have to get fancy, or pick up some cap, to put together an eventual bottom six, with the dregs left in batch four.

Second best offer for 3 players (Schenn, Kulak and Brendan Dillon) and strike out on the whole batch. Ugh.

runner-up for Laughton, but that wasn't particularly close. Oh well.

I don't even know if that qualifies anymore. I think the Bruins have failed their own strategy.

12 players at the CPHL level with 3.88M in cap.

They are going to have to trade high end guys (Kopitar, Forsberg, Hyman, Pasta) for quantity. A bunch of 3 and 4 for 1 type of deals.

The challenge is, there really aren't many teams with much cap space remaining and a few roster spots to fill still.

I entered this one wrong.

Reily Smith
4 offers
Vancouver: 3*1.5*1=4.5
Next best offer: 2.97

It is only a 2 year deal. But Vancovuer still wins as it's 3.0 in total, still better than the runner up.
