Oh neat! We had two picks in the first round! This pick was the second one.
And there are more rounds tomorrow! At least I managed to go to bed and have a good night’s sleep between pick 18 and 32.
I'm glad we got this guy, because who doesn't like pottery?
I did a draft analysis on this player few months ago, and I can tell you the following:
- Always shows up for games, and often for practice.
- Has the ability to propel himself across ice using boots with blades in them (skates, for those in the business). And he's fast!
- Stickwork and much blocking 10/10 – 100%
- Puck dangles
- High upside, low lowside, and a bit in between for spice.
- Once ate over 17 pancakes (17.5) in one sitting on a dare, and he wasn’t even hungry.
- Is known to be a bit of beast when awakened. Don’t make him angry! Or do. I don’t care. I’m not your dad.
I predict good things here. He has the ability to really make some noise, especially if it’s quiet (because of the principle of perceived loudness). I am even more proud to be a Flames fan now. I genuinely think Potter is going to be really good.
By the way: did you know the Oilers lost again in the finals? What a bunch of losers. I hate them so much.
