I miss the Brodie days, he was madly under appreciated at times here and he went through the same treatment through the first few years in Toronto but he has for sure lost a step. If a team like Chicago is buying you out it likely means end of the road which is sad because Brodie is a genuinely good dude who deserved the 1000 games. I’m hoping someone gives him a PTO.

He's a player whose strength was always almost entirely his skating. That doesn't pan out well as you age. He was fun to watch in his prime.

Replacing Brodie with Tanev was a massive upgrade. Flames have a chance to do that again by trading Ras. I’m not sure who that replacement will be in the short term. Long term, it’s likely Bru or Zayne
