Love and Jay Leach were also finalists. Sturm was also in the mix for the Vancouver job, reportedly.

I had heard some rumblings that teams were going to wait to see if DeBoer became available with the fiasco that played out in Dallas. But I guess that's not happening so these guys decided to move on Sturm. I saw some Bruins fan doing a Barnburner style pod and he was really hoping for Mitch Love.

That's the last of them. Now 22 franchises hired their HC after we got Huska which is kind of crazy.
I find it fascinating that every coach except Cooper, Bednar, and Brind'Amour has been hired in the last 3.5 years.
Personally, I wish Sturm, the Bruins, Z, and Lindholm nothing but mediocrity.
