The only team I really hate is the Oilers. After that, I don't think I care enough to actually hate any other team. Even the Leafs are just another team to me and I can't be bothered to pay any attention to them. I certainly hated the Canucks back in their Kesler, Burrows, Cooke, and Ruutu years and will gladly hate them again if the rivalry heats back up. Right now, it is kind of muted though.

So if I had to pick 10, it would be:

1. Oilers (hated)
2. Canucks (disliked)

Followed by eight teams that I find the least interesting:

2. Vegas - gifted an expansion team ready to win a Cup and constant cap loophole manipulation.
3. Canucks - it's close between them and Vegas. Years of unlikable players and their fan base is garbage
4. Toronto - Growing up in Southwestern Ontario means a steady diet of Leafs media bs. Plus their fan base is intolerable.
5. LA. Big US market that always seems to be a thorn in the Flames side. Plus the whole Gretzky thing, Drew Doughty, and their inability to eliminate the Oilers every damn year.
6. Anaheim. Their name is just stupid and they had some seriously unlikeable players there like Corey Perry. The rivalry with Calgary goes a long way here too.
7. Tampa Bay - The 04 finals, the 18M over the cap, they just suck
8. Chicago. - Just a shaft organization, the first cap circumvention team, and hearing Chelsea Dagger makes me want to pull my hair out.
9. NYR - Big US market, seems to get all the good free agents, Adam Fox, Larry Brooks, they suck.
10. Colorado - always have good teams, should still be the Nords, always have the Flames number.

That's it. The Leafs have never been good in my lifetime, so I've never hated them. I also don't see the supposed media bias towards the Leafs at all. If anything, the media is largely extra rough on the Leafs and way more critical of them than the other Canadian teams where I observe a more lighter and hopeful tone, often. The media bias I see has always been towards the Oilers.

I used to hate the Canucks during their Matt Cooke, Kesler, Bieksa, Ruutu days, but since they left, the next generation of Canucks are hard to hate on. The Sedins were beasts and shut their mouths and got better and became among the best. Over 50% of my closest friends are Canuck fans too, and because of that, I don't hate them and in fact sort of like them. Same with the Leafs and how many of my friends are Leaf fans and they've made me a fan of them too.

Oh, I do know a guy out here in Toronto who is a Habs fan and his arrogance about the Habs and their history irks me. I guess I still don't hate the Habs, but this guy's elitism about his Habs and the way he kind of blows off the Flames pisses me off lol.
