Default April 14 with six games.

The final Monday OOT of the regular season has three games
with clinching scenarios. There are also a pair of duds and one
game is a playoff preview (Kings-Oilers).

Ivan Demidov debuts for the Canadiens in their most important game of the season.

I know a lot of fans want the Canadiens in, but I really want the Bluejackets to make it. For Johnny!

Also seems like Bennett is back for the Panthers. They must really want that home ice against the Lightning.

Hasn’t touched the puck yet and the fans in Montreal are chanting his name. It really is another level of fandom with that team.

Very nice assist on his 3rd shift of the game. This Demidov kid certainly not looking too nervous so far.

Man, I wish the Flames had a highly-touted 19yr old prospect that they could easily plug into the lineup right now...

Gets his first goal. He looks like he’s gonna be a star already

And now he has a beautiful goal. All in the first period. Wow.

I can’t imagine how mad Bedard is that his team had the chance to draft that kid to play with him. He would literally be making his NHL debut with him in this game if they did.

Yeah, was feeling the same. Came to the OOT thread to see if someone posted that and sure enough.

Between a rock and a hard place right now. I want Parekh, I want playoffs, I want everything.

I was thinking the same, what an awesome story it would be for CBJ to get in on faint hope clause (like the Flames).

At home, chance to clinch, intro of a highly anticipated player and against Chicago. CBJ no chance on this one.

Parekh reposted a Demidov rookie lap post. I’m sure he’s sitting there wondering what he has to do

You can see the energy a prospect like that injects to the team and fan base. But Jake Bean and Hanley

There's a huge difference between playing wing as 19yo vs playing D.
No Parekh for you!!

And coming from the OHL playing against mostly 17-20 year olds, and the KHL playing against mostly 25-30 year olds, where Demidov led his team in scoring.

Parekh is a great prospect, but Demidov is in a tier of his own.
