Default March 19, just two games.

The Wednesday Night Hockey OOT with both games
featuring a team from the Central Division. The Wild
are seventh place in the western conference standings,
four points behind the Avalanche. Enjoy.

After a scoreless twenty minutes, both teams score a power play goal early in the second period. Matthews and Nichuskin are the goal scorers.

Do you mean for Avalanche? Woll has been the busier goalie as he has faced nearly forty shots.

A too many men penalty on the Leafs leads to them scoring a shorthanded goal.

Just saw the video of the winning goal, what a joke/terrible luck. Puck gets shot down the ice, ref bites it and falls down, puck hits ref and sits there for a Leaf to come down, pick it up and score. Almost wonder if there should be a rule to blow it down when it was such a blatant advantage to a team. That puck should have been down in the corner or behind the net.

100% if the pick hitting a ref creates a distinct advantage the play should be blown down

Yeah they need to change that rule...its already no goal if it goes directly off the ref...just call it if it leads to a direct scoring chance. Not that complicated.

That was a Wild start to the game and since then, it has not been wild. Minnesota simply put it into cruise control snd will be within two points of the Avalanche. Shutout watch for Gustavsson, he has stopped all 26 shots so far.

The way the ref falls is just hilarious. I've watched it a hundred times. It's like he just lies down on the ice in slowmotion.
