The jets now have 9 defensemen on their main roster. I would be interested in Heinola as a reclamation project

a peculiar trajectory for Schenn, up to age 30 about a 700 game career with around 10 total playoff games, then the next 2 years he's splitting time in the AHL. that's usually time up


then he has this 300 game second half to his career with 2 cups and 3 times as many playoff games as he had appeared in prior and no visits back to the AHL

That is something to be proud of also. Carving out a career when halfway through it considered dead in the water. Good for him.
