Not a bad game from the Flames. Hung with one of the best teams in the league. Thompson stole it.

Back in the W column next game. Lets go.

Hung in there with the top two teams in the league. Can't ask for more then that.

Backlund and Sharangovic both looked sooooo casual out there. Like they were having a contest to see who was the least interested tonight.

Besides the bonehead plays resulting in goals against the Flames looked pretty good out there. Thompson is in the zone right now.

Meh, the caps are who everyone says they are. I'm just surprised OV didn't open up his can of whoop ass on us tonight.

Also, if you're going to poke the bear that is Tom Wilson, be ready to have your face tenderized with some stick and some elbows. Not a guy I'd usually expect a team to rule up.

They’ve just got to hang around until after the break…. Survive until Zary and Bahl are back in action.

Huge Thompson fan so very happy for him, but man I’ll be stunned if the caps survive the first round.

Coleman penalty was obviously stupid but I hated the call on Pahal that made them short handed in the first place. Tie game, tight game, good goaltending, but a really soft call.

Vancouver can leap frog the flames tomorrow against a bad Nashville team. Gross.

Dumb penalties. Lazy plays.

Someone in the room needs to get mad.

Country club team happy with where they are.

Not ready to take the next step.

Man, the caps goalie is good. I wonder if he's Canadian? We could maybe use him at the 4 nations. Someone should check his passport /s.

I thought it was quite a fun game. Flames are giving the top teams all they can handle and don't get outworked. It wasn't the young guys making the mistakes in this game either. Weegar doesn't make that "pass" and Coleman doesn't throw the puck around and it might be a different result.

Washington with good positioning and battle in their own zone but realistically it feels like if Zary wasn’t hurt we might’ve had a shot. Would’ve been nice to see a little more from Coronato. Backlund needs to get his feet moving. Barrie was good on the PP but yikes on foot speed there. Thought except for the penalty Coleman had a great game too. Kadri was solid.

Thompson was unreal. Decent game to watch.

They tried but couldn't get anything more past Thompson. Calgary kid. It was to be expected. Move on. Wilson Is an idiot. I mean that in the most insulting way.

Two great goalies playing tonight.

Unfortunately for us, with the tough schedule coming shortly, it is looking like 9th place.

Barrie is flat footed and the player just stepped on the ice. Nobody is catching him in that scenario

The tough schedule is over, between now and the break they can rack up some points if they keep playing like this.
