That was a rough one tonight defensively.

It's time to give Kuznetsov, Solovyov or Grushnikov a look.

Basically a home game for the Leafs. Stop selling your tickets to Leaf, Habs, Oilers and Canuck fans.

Difference was the stars I think. Really hate losing to the Leafs, especially at home.

They didn't even have their (arguably) best player. Tough one. I agree with dino7c, Flames didn't play normally. The ones they lost against Winnipeg and Washington they gave those two all they could handle. This wasn't a fun one.

Flames didn't play their defensive game and tried to trade chances a bit and made too many mistakes and that's what happens.

Need to get Solovoyov or Kuznetsov here, Barrie should be moved tomorrow.

Also a night that shows points don't matter, Huberdeau had one of his rougher games of the year but got two assists from it.

It's nice when the other team has elite players in their roster.

I'm just sad that Wolf didn't snuffle out their stars. Thought it might be one where he'd shine.

Hard to when you're left out to dry like laundry on the line.

Barrie on waivers tomorrow or we riot.

But honestly, a couple of bad penalties, a couple of odd man rushes, and one or two goals Wolf would like back.

They just weren't that sharp tonight, and I'm not surprised given the schedule of late.

I thought we were playing pretty well against them in the first half, but some odd man rushes from terrible pinches really took us away from the game. Played catch-up the rest of the way.

Gotta play better against the better teams.

We just need our reinforcements back, really badly.

Zary and Bahl are missed.

It definitely looked like a team that played 3 games in 4 days with late travel in between...

A lot of times when a team doesn't play the way they want, it is often because of the other team doing a better job of dictating the play. It seemed to me like the Flames were playing a bit rattled at times and making poor decisions on the puck.

That wasn’t a fun one especially since it felt like a Leafs home game. Wolf was left out to dry and the defence was atrocious. Really missing Bahl on the backend and it’s quite clear that Barrie isn’t an NHL player anymore. The skill difference of the Leafs top players was on full display. Can’t get into a situation where you try to outscore them.

Really need the Avalance to beat the Canucks tonight.

But Demko has been sharp in this one. Tough to see him letting in two.

Could be tied after tonight heading into a Thursday where CGY plays COL and VAN plays SJ. Gross.

Especially Bahl and I like watching Zary way more than him. But Bahl’s steady play was important considering how mediocre our D corps is.
