This schedule is ridiculous, less than 24 hours between the start of games?
With last night being an emotional win, and Vladar likely in net, and Jets coming for revenge... this feels like a scheduled loss.
Get your crap together, NHL.

This looks like a scheduled loss to me too. However, I expect the Flames to give it everything they can. Maybe they can claw their way to a point or two?
Recently, it feels like the Flames have had highly concentrated clumps of games separated by long breaks.

I’m not sure the NHL can predict what’s going to happen the day before, but every team plays back-to-backs. We’re not Oiler fans here, we can handle the same adversity every team goes through without taking it personally.

The Panthers and Senators are also playing games today with less than 24 hours between the start of games. The Avs are playing too with exactly 24 hours between yesterday and today's start.

Not expecting a lot from the Flames but if it does go south there is always the football game.

Its the sacrifice all teams make to take a 12 day break in the middle of the season in order to facilitate a best on best tournament that both the league and the players wanted.
Money rules all.

It's an hour and a half flight. It's like going to Vancouver on back to backs, which the Flames have done regularly. It's also a start time that is one hour earlier than yesterday. Let's calm down about the schedule a little.

In the end it benefits the Flames who won't have any players going and should be well rested to end the season.

Rewatching the clip of the Lauko hit linked above is interesting
Millen ‘good thing he’s alright ‘ (he was not )
Heard over head from ref ‘we have a 5 minute penalty ‘ (we did not)

The Flames are good at playoff style low event hockey and with Bahl likely out I hope they can grind out a low scoring 60 min and win the coin flip result. Go Flames!

Love to see Bahl back
Thought Pachal looked really good last nite , Raz was pissssed .
I hope the Jets wake the flames up in the first so they dont have an afternoon nap .
I think last nite was a playoff preview for the Flames to see for themselves , have some further evidence and belief in themselves .
The bar i was in last nite was loud and i was kinda shocked at how excited people were as its not normally full of engaged flames fans .
Go FlamesGo !!! Really really hope Bahl was just sat as a precaution and that hes actually okay. We really really need him.

Like I said in the other thread, this is merely procedural.
If the refs call a 5 minute major it means the play can be reviewed on the monitors and from there can be upgraded or...obviously...downgraded.
If the on-ice call is a 2-minute minor, they cant review the play. Why? I dont know, it sounds stupid to me too.
But as I also said in the other thread, that means they looked at the play and CHOSE to downgrade it to a 2 minute minor.
Which IMO makes the stupidity even worse.
