Enjoyed the Flames tapping their sticks for the refs as they left the ice. Under the secure tarp.

Maybe those dudes need to be a bit more scared of ####ing over Calgary at home. Just a thought.

Probably has something to do with…oh, I dunno…the phase of the moon.

Guys just seem to go brain-dead in OT.

Tired of all these missed calls. Brutal.

I’m so ready for management and coaching staff to start prioritizing opportunities for the young players. I’m not blaming Kadri or Huberdeau for the OT goal… it was a nice attempt at the other end along with a missed call from the refs. I’m just tired of Kadri/Huberdeau/Backlund/Coleman getting first crack at every big moment or opportunity. First guys on the ice in OT. We’ve seen multiple overtimes where Zary and Coronato don’t even step on the ice.

Win or lose. I want to see them get those chances. They are playing well enough and responsible enough to earn it. Both of them are playing way way more responsible than Kadri and are constantly making the smarter plays than Kadri and Huberdeau.

I sometimes get the feeling coaches/management in the NHL are afraid to piss off some players. Kadri is one of them. Like cutting his minutes or opportunities would result in him becoming a disruption.

The NHL publicly fines players for diving.

The NHLPA should call out refs for garbage calls/non calls.

Seems that the Flames just can't catch any breaks at all unless it's breaking against them. Bleh.

Teams usually start their leading scorers in OT

^^^ I wasn't entirely sure what he was so upset on first view.

That's pretty damning evidence.

Huberdeau sporting a cut on side of his lip in post game. Ripped on the refs.

Flames were the much better team, just couldn't finish. Too bad.

Really liking that Pelletier-Zary-Sharangovich line. Yegor with seven shot attempts and five scoring chances tonight ... he's overdue in a huge way.

Huberdeau is playing his best hockey as a Flame by a long shot.
