Road Hockey Challenge, a 13 episode television show currently in development with the Outdoor Life Network, is looking for the best dynamic duos in Canada to host our show. We are looking for patriotic, road hockey enthusiasts to take our audience on a cross-country odyssey celebrating our beautiful game.
Every week, our hosts roll into a Canadian town where they will each draft a team and play against each other in a balls-out game of road hockey. Each episode will have a side wager to heighten the drama and a season tally will be kept to crown the series champion.
We are looking for people to apply in pairs. This is a competitive, buddy, road trip show and we want to tap into existing friendships and rivalries. Basically, we want real friends who are really funny and who think travelling across the country playing road hockey against each other is the absolute greatest thing in the world!
WANT TO SHOW YOUR STUFF AND APPLY?
MEET THESE CRITERIA?
1. Non-Union Performers.
2. Are good road hockey players.
3. Are funny.
4. Love Canada, love hockey.
5. Have a good buddy relationship but are quite competitive with one another when bragging rights are on the line.
6. Available to film for approximately 3 months in the summer of 2006.
HERE IS HOW TO APPLY …
1. Find a video camera and a dude to operate it.
2. Film yourselves doing the following:
a) introducing yourselves (who you are, how long you have been friends, what you love/hate about each other, why and how you would like to kick each others asses, your road hockey history, and whatever else you think we should know).
b) explaining why you really want host Road Hockey Challenge and why you would be good at it.
c) engaging in some banter between the two of you.
d) you guys playing road hockey (do not be afraid to make it entertaining).
