Who starts in net game #1?
Not that it matters much who starts the first game, but it somewhat indicates who the coaches trusts more.
I am thinking Vladar starts game #1 just because he was given the start in the last preseason game and he wasnt bad.

Vladar in Vancouver, Wolf for the home opener. That'd be how I do it.

Vladar gets the start, gives up 5 thru two periods, Wolf pitches a shutout and the Flames win 6-5.
Ok, I admit it, I drank too much today

I would expect Vladar. They both had similar preseasons and Vladar is the veteran so he should get first crack at it. I do think that Wolf will establish himself as the guy by the end of the season, but I'm not counting out Vladar by any means.

It'll be Vladar, and I suspect he gives up five on 27 shots.

Don’t prolong the obvious and just go with Wolf. You’ve groomed him for this opportunity and he’s proven himself at every level. Vladar is fine but you already know what he is. The future is here and young guys have been given opportunities at other positions, and as such the goaltending should be no different.
In saying that, I have a feeling Vladar will be given the start due to veteran experience.

Vladar will get the first game, not sure giving Wolf the home opener is wise or not, a lot of pressure to perform, but maybe that's where he thrives.

Vladar will get the lions share of starts this year but Wolf will impress and win the majority of starts he gets and will show next year he would be the starter. I think that's realistic. It will be a soft launch to showcase wolf is the future starter not to put potentially a meaningless year of success on Wolf.
Edit: then again maybe Vladar runs the gambit. Bruins really had to hum and haw on the trade between him and swayman . So let fortune shine on both and the better man come out on top. Deuces wild Y'all.

Agree with people, Vladar gets his shot finally to take the number 1 title. Will be fun to watch if he can bring his game up a level.

This is going to be Wolfs team. He should be starting.
It’s not like we are opening up against offensive powerhouse teams.

It doesn't really matter who is starting. Both goalies will get a fair shake this year.
