Hard to say what will fix the Sabres. 13 consecutive years without playoffs has to be tough on the fanbase.

Full stop, that's not remotely correct. Cozens was drafted high because of his skating and high end hockey sense.
And calling someone dumb without spelling their name properly isn't to bright either.

Sabres offseason was confusing too.
You buyout Skinner for some reason and then do absolutely nothing with the cap space you gained by doing that except add an arguably worse veteran forward in Zucker for $5M.
Still think they should be trading some of their young forward assets (Kulich or Rosen) to try to add a veteran RH dman too.

Tuned into the Blackhawks/Blues preseason game yesterday just to hear Rick Bell call the game. Had it on in the background while making dinner, was zoning out and began to wonder who these player's name I kept hearing that I had no idea they played for the Flames. I then remembered that Ball was calling for the Blackhawks and was sad.

2022 9oa C/W (traded)

2020 8oa W
2019 7oa C

2017 8oa C (traded)
2016 8oa W (bust)
2015 2oa C(traded)
2014 2oa C/W (traded)
2013 8oa D (traded)
Terrible asset management by the Sabres.
They have nobody left from the 2013 to 2017 drafts for their top 10 picks. If they still had Reinhardt, Eichel and Mittelstadt. They would be in a completely different position. They have poor top end centers and forwards given where they have drafted in the last dozen years.
