Miromanov on a pairing is going to be ugly and might drag Weegar down, the guy didn't impress me at all in the few games he played with us.

What didn't you like about his game?
I thought the Flames were generating more offense with him on the ice. As far as defense I'm still unsure what Miromanov's game is, and to what extent was Weegar covering for him. That said, the pairing held their own last year. In fact, I don't think it was any worse than Zadorov - Weegar, and Z just signed a $30M contract.

Without having seen Bahl or Bean play for the Flames yet, I’m hoping Pachal is on the roster to start the season as I liked his game. Yes he made mistakes, but he played heavy and wasn’t afraid to jump on opportunities to join the rush or make a quick pass up in transition. I do like the quantity of competition for NHL jobs on D and if he doesn’t make the cut I’ll be excited to see what the coaching staff see in who does make the team.

I have him pencilled in as the 7th D man. I think Barrie makes the team.

I just hope Pachal gets better when reacting to a forward faking a shot. His default mode last year was to attempt to block the fake shot, and have the forward skate by him, or create a grade A scoring chance because Pachal was out of position.
Aside from that I liked his game, I think he's an average 6/7. Hopefully he's one of the D that's going to take a step this year.

I really like Miromanov. Calling Weegar the best player on the team (in his opinion) and saying he has a responsibility to play well to help Weegar shine. He seems like a good guy and a good teammate as well.
I think there's a better chance of Kevin Dahl exploding into an allstar.
24 year old good skating big D man just entering the prime years of his career. Like I said, it's a Bold Prediction. A scorching hot take, if you will.
