Probably got a nice little raise on the AHL salary, so probably worth the fight on his end. I see him splitting the season between both clubs. Hopefully Solo follows suit and inks a deal now too...I feel like this is a season where he should take a leap to NHL regular by the end of the season.

I'm happy the deal is done.
I'm rooting for Pelletier to become the breakout player of the year. Hopefully training with Huberdeau during the summer got him in top shape.

I don't think there's a chance Pelletier plays in the AHL this year. Can't see him going unclaimed on waivers.

Okhotiuk left for the KHL and won't sign, so does the Flames own his NHL rights forever?
