I believe Sam Morton can play 4th line center in the NHL. I hope he gets a shot next camp

Interesting that Stromgren didn't get a call up. He will need to find another gear next year; otherwise he will get passed over / go unsigned to make way for Gridin, Battaglia, Basha, and others.

Good for Sam and Hunter.
The Wranglers play Friday and Sunday here in town, so it's logistically a quick swap back for Sunday. There's enough try-outs to fill spots for Friday.

|
Brzustewicz had a tough start to the season, but found his stride and improved as the season went on. That's what you want to see out of a young defenceman. It will be good for him to see what the NHL pace is like.
Morton appears to be "good enough" to play a bottom 6 role in the NHL. He's been trusted in key situations for the Wranglers all season long. He's got a good motor and a pretty decent shot. Let's see how he does in the faceoff dot against NHLers and maybe we have a Rooney replacement for next season.
