I dont like to bring Liverpool into it, but I think under these circumstances its apt.

It should be really good for both of them to play prominent roles on that kind of competitive stage.

A few weeks ago, Pospisil almost pulled out of participating due to the IIHF allowing KHL players to participate. He seems to have some strong political opinions and principles. In the end, he decided that because of the possible once in a life time opportunity to play with his brother on a national team and his desire to help his country, he would continue to participate. But he also declared that his opinion on the matter did not change.

Watched the highlights of the Slovakia vs Kazakhstan game. Pospisil was very prominent in all the highlights, including winning the board battle at the offensive blueline to assist on the winning goal. Was also involved in at least 3 highlighted scoring chances, plus he may have been playing center for Slovakia based on a single faceoff highlight. He is at least one reason to watch the Flames this season

^ He was playing center, pretty sure he was playing on a line with his brother to boot.

I absolutely love Pospisil's game! That's why I find it strange so many lines have him centering the 4th line. I think he will be a key ingredient of our best offensive line with Kadri and Kuzmenko.

Pospisil working out with honzek in summer. Can't be bad. Pospisil is tank works so hard. I absolutely love him. In your face. Him lomberg and Kadri can set the tone this season. We need a physical d man to replace zadorov. What a steal.

I actually wonder if they train him to take over from Backlund in two years, maybe with Honzek on his wing (likely timing for him to make the show full time), either that or he plays between Huberdeau-Pospsil-Sharangovich (he could play the Bennett role that Huberdeau had in Florida with Sharangovich playing the Duclair one). Just my thoughts and where I would try to fit him during the preseason.
