“One thing, we dropped our last game. So, this one becomes more important for us to make sure we're getting back on track,” said Head Coach Ryan Huska. “But it’s like a rivalry game, too. You always want to play your best against your rivals, and you have this situation where they're on a really good run. So, we have an opportunity to play our best game against them (tonight).”

So as the Winnipeg Jets roll into the final stop on a three-game road trip in Calgary at 7-0-0 and the lone team in the NHL without a loss of any kind, that target might be getting a little bit bigger by the day.

But as Winnipeg prepares to finish a three-game road trip, it hits the ice having been handed a wake-up call in its last outing.
The Jets surrendered a two-goal, third-period lead but recovered to beat the Seattle Kraken 4-3 in overtime on Thursday.

I know it’s based upon last season and this season, but are the flames really 22nd in the league when that’s basically where they drafted last season after this start?
And 15/16 playoff spots are >99%?
I know that’s the way power rankings work…

Like Carolina, the Jets are a good gauge of where the Flames are as a team.
Huska can remind them to be ready to play in the first period. Spotting any team a few goals before the Flames start to get into the game is a bad trend.
