Wouldn't have been able to get somebody to Boston for practice today anyways.
I doubt you see anybody new in the lineup tomorrow night but likely a body is called up today and then maybe in the lineup against the Sabres on Saturday.

Feel like Pelletier won’t be called up until some trades start happening and more permanent roster spots are available. Conroy likely does not want to risk losing Pelletier on waivers if he stays up for enough games that he needs waivers to be sent back down. If guys like Mantha or Kuzmenko get traded later this season, Pelletier could be called up and get a permanent spot on the roster for the rest of the season (provided he keeps up his high level of play for the Wranglers until then).

The Sharngovich at C experiment is annoying. It didn't work last year, and he is invisible this year. He is a winger.

Yes but this team has an overabundance of wingers and no depth at center.
Someone has to play center and Sharky has shown to have some chemistry with Huberdeau in the past.
Is what it is until this team can improve the Center depth and move on from some wingers.

Who would you rather they play there?
They clearly think Zary is an NHL winger, Pospisil probably looked even less effective there, and neither Kirkland or Rooney should be in a top 9 role.
Sharangovich has probably looked more effective at center than the other options, and also took some time getting back to speed after his injury.
Edit: And the underlying numbers at 5v5 for Huberdeau + Sharangovich are really good - it's the finishing that's struggled and he's had a lot of missed chances individually.
Corsi For: 62.50%
Shots For: 65.9%
HDCF: 66.7% (10 FOR / 5 against)
xGF: 62.14%
GF: 33% (1 For / 2 Against)
On Ice Shooting: 3.23%
On Ice Save%: .875
Faceoff: 50% (32/64)
Honestly there is no reason to move him from Center right now. The chances just haven't been going in yet.

I'd actually like to see Duehr with the big club again. I think he gained a lot of confidence recently. He's at a PPG, only behind Kerins, and he's a RW, which fits the 4th line better IMO.
Maybe I'm a bit nostalgic, but I absolutely loved his play under Sutter.

Oof, that 4th line is going to get caved and spend the majority of their shifts hemmed in the D zone, or sitting in the penalty box.

I get that. I'd probably be a bit disappointed if only because I'd like to see someone new get a shot. Like Kerins for example.
Would be interesting to see if Duehr's new (re?) found confidence would translate.

Youre being nostalgic, hes been terrible at the NHL save his first few games.

I think the Flames have generally grown out of the need for Duehr at this point. I expect Klapka will be recalled but I wouldn't be shocked to see Pelletier.

Those chances started going in last year when he got switched to the wing.

Even if that's true I'm not sure a shooting percentage bender is a good reason to put him back on the wing. If he was generating fewer chances then sure but that's not the case at all:
He played more than 50 minutes on 5 lines last year:
179 Minutes: Lindholm-Mangiapane-Sharangovich: 7 GF / 8 GA / 46.9 xGF / 7.14% Shooting %
146 Minutes: Huberdeau - Lindholm - Sharangovich: 6 GF / 11 GA / 44.3 xGF / 6.76 Shooting %
101 Minutes: Huberdeau - Sharangovich - Kuzmenko - 2 GF / 4 GA / 63.1 xGF / 4.35% Shooting %
73 Minutes: Zary - Kadri - Sharangovich: 5 GF / 7 GA / 53.0% xGF / 9.52% Shooting %
50 Minutes: Greer - Sharangovich - Duehr: 1 GF / 2 GA / 62.1% xGF / 4.17% Shooting %
Unfortunately it's tough to break down where his 22 even strength goals happened but in terms of driving play he tends to be more effective when playing center but he had better shooting luck on the wing.
So to me I think I'd trust that those percentages normalize at some point with him playing center.

GOAT!

I would try Coronato on the right side with Kadri and Zary, and Kuzy down with Backlund and Coleman.
But I also want Zary at C. Pospisil Zary Coronato could be a fun line.

I like Coronato with Backlund and Coleman. I know Zary had a good year with Kadri last season but I think it can be tough to play with Kadri - especially for most rookies. He’s a bit of a puck hog and he gets pretty vocally upset at them when they don’t do what he wants. Saw that last night when Zarywent offside.
Not saying Kadri can’t be a good leader - just that some young players might not fit well playing with him.
Coleman and Backlund seem much more of calming influence on a young player. Backlund has been doing a great job developing young players on this team for the last 10 years. Would love to see Coronato play with him and Coleman all year.

Any chance Kerins gets rewarded?
I am a little but surprised that Pelletier hasn't even scored a goal yet this season. 10 assists look nice I guess, but I haven't watched any of the games to see if most of those are primary assists that directly led to the scoring chance, or if he is just benefiting from line mates. Any insight there?
