Does anyone do this annually or hire anyone? Ours has been going off frequently over the past week (last night every 5min) with the heavy rain so not sure if thats the norm.

Any recommendations?

That means it's working . I'd leave it unless it never shuts off. Otherwise you'll get charged for a guynto come out and do nothing.

You should manually test it Yearly anyway and then when it doesn't come on then worry.

Sorry..I know that is pretty obvious regardless but i deal with them allot.
