A Flames song I made last year that I was too scared to share until now
I like to rap and I made this song last year out of boredom during the period of frustration that most of us had with the direction the Flames were going in. I can definitely say that since Conroy has taken over and has executed on his promises, I am liking what the team is doing and am excited to see what the team will shape into over time.
I like to write conceptual songs so each verse is from the perspective of different time periods in Flames history (it should be obvious which ones):
I initially didn't want to put this (or my other songs) out there because of the fear of being judged and people not liking it. But I realized that I shouldn't be scared of people not liking my stuff or being seen as "cringe". The most important thing is that I like what I made and that I can take constructive criticism when I get it and use it to improve. There's a saying that goes "don't kill the part of you that's cringe, kill the part of you that cringes" and I'm gonna start embracing that more going forward
I also got good reactions to the Oilers song I made recently (Here's the Oilers one)
NSFW!
Enjoy

I liked upvoted and stuff after seeing your song about the oilers loss on Reddit as well. Chase your dream, man. Too many pessismists tell you what you should and shouldn't do, and after a while many of us start to listen. Visionaries accept constructive feedback but drown out those who have nothing to add to your creative process.
