3. Graduates and/or runoffs will be determined in each case
4. Please don't complain that the polls are going to deep. We go until all the prospects are ranked, so don't vote if you don't want to.

Close for me between Grushnikov, Poirier and Mews. Went with Poirier. Big fan of all three though

Looking at the early results and seeing Mews as a potential #13 is shocking to see compared to where we were just even a year ago.
Edit: Just saw Rasmus Andersson also went #13 in CalgaryPuck rankings in his draft year and they BOTH had a 0.94 PPG in the OHL. Pretty crazy!

Kinda bonkers (in a good way!) that a guy who the Flames JUST picked in the second round hasn't gotten any traction in these votes yet.

I'm sticking with Gru. We need more despicable players.
Besides, I want to see minions at the Saddledome.

Poirier then Gru. This is where I select a lot of the D.
And the fact we haven’t even talked about Misa yet is insane. Gonna be quite the top 15.

Gotta go with Poirier here. Would love to see a big bounce back year.
I think next will be Gru and then it starts to get interesting for me with Battaglia, Mews, and Suniev all exciting prospects. Misa just outside of that group based on current size. I love D+1 and D+2 years when you get to see some of these prospects take the next step, address areas the big club tells them to focus on, and hopefully put on size.
The difference between how the 2024 and 2025 polls shake out will be fun to see. My guess is Battaglia goes much higher next year.

Powerplay Quarterback

Poirier again. I think with this year’s exceptions he is the only one to me beside morin that has middle pairing potential. Just not sold on any if other non traded just picked prospects having that potential or being more than a bottom pair ( dont get me wrong still valuable commodity) in the nhl.
Great if im wrong, but as i have mentioned the guys in higher tiers of play lead my prospect rankings and poirier becoming a bottom pair or better defender is found money at this point.
Stromgren is next for me.

Grushnikov getting so much love already, and ahead of Poirier is surprising to me.
He looked good a propsect camp but also didn't have a great season after the trade to the Wranglers.
I'd have Poirier, Battaglia, Mews, and Suniev all ahead of him at this point...then some order of Klapka, Solovoyov, Grushnikov and Kuznetsov after that.
Feels nice to be having these types of discussions for our 11-18 ranked prospects though, and really with Misa and some others the list is quite strong 20 players deep.

Went Jacob "Battlestar Gallactica" Battaglia as a longterm upside projection (vs NHL readiness) here...
(admitted fabricated nickname, of course, as just noticed his name is like a shortform of Battlestar Gallactica...probably.)
Strongly considered here: Crushnikov (shutdown D) & Poirier (offenseman), with Mews, and then Suniev & Misa also garnering some consideration.
As adapted from Cali Panthers Fan - update fwiw...

Good list - would’ve been nice to see...an unlikely NHLer category but if they get there they have the tools to be stars, like Misa, Mews, etc.
***
Thus,
E level (low-medium likelihood of NHL career but chance of being a star player)
E-exceptionally intriguing upside
(note: prospects in this category may also be in a category above; maybe a contradiction, but hoping to highlight the possibilities within the prospect pool)
- Misa
- Mews
^is last category needed - if so, how would you go about it?

Solovyov and Lipinski are my two favorites remaining on the board.
Not the flashiest guys, but I really like the way they approach their game.
