People sure don't love the guy but I've always been a small fan. He's only 28 so a 4 year deal isn't the end of the world if AAV isn't scary.

Calgary isn't the top free agent destination at the best of times. With their current team, they are not likely attracting players who have a number of viable choices.

Surprised this wasn't the Flames.
It felt almost too predictable, that it going another way shouldn't be unpredictable.
