Genuine question. It’s an ELC at an AAV of $950k. Does he get paid that amount no matter where he plays (AHL/NHL), or is it only if he plays for the big club?
I never understood how that works.
Either way, love this!

Great news! I'm very excited to watch him develop with the Flames. Certainly a very high-end offensive defenseman. I think he will have a chip on his shoulder too after being left off the USA world junior team and could see him being the future powerplay quarterback if things work out.
