There was a tweet that said that the player (Panin) was arguably one of the dirtiest players in the league and included a clip of a dirty play by him. I don't know whether he is or isn't but it could have been a get-even play by Buddy.

The dudes been suspended many times for intentional head shots, has slashed people in the head with his stick, abuse of officials, cheap shots like the one he took.
He's dirty as dirty can get.
If anything I assume Buddy was literally just beating him to the punch.
