Flames have not won a season series vs the Blues since 2018 and are 2-8 against them in the last 10 games. For whatever reason the Flames have not matched up well against them regardless of where the teams are in the standings.

I find teams that play tight defense and a boring style, can shut the Flames right down. If you forecheck aggressively, and clog the neutral zone, the Flames will struggle to score.

I think the coach has been looking for a reason to replace Ruzicka for a while now. He's been pretty terrible for the last couple of months, but I don't think any of the healthy scratches were better than him to warrant a night in the press box.
I just want to see Schwindt bring energy and defensive responsibility at the 4C position. It's been lacking for a while.
