Greer was wide open for the back door tap in, but it was the Kids first NhL scoring chance

Flames seem to have trouble with teams that compete

I was thinking the same thing, not the best awareness there.

Not a smart penalty but pretty weak imo

I liked the 4th line so far in this one, I think it already looks like an upgrade.

Not been impressed with Shmidt at all. Klapka and Greer look good.

Who would have guessed before the season started that, halfway through , Goaltending would be the Flames greatest strength?

I switch over on commercial just to see the leagues darlings scoring a powerplay goal, a goal that if Calgary had scored it would have probably been called back as kicked in. God I hate team league welfare.

Much prefer the Blasty as the home jersey.

Shades of last game against Edmonton. 10 bell chances all night. Good thing Markstrom is rested, otherwise...

First because he didn't have the awareness to see Greer, that's a tap in and it should be 1-0. Second, he just took a dumb penalty in the offensive zone. Maybe he gets better as the game goes on but not a great first impression for me.
