He tweaked a groin in his first game. It was probably just an effect of being out of game action for so long, not dissimilar to what happens to lots of players during training camp.

I'm glad to see that he's okay, I just wouldnt want him to have spent all this time and effort and then be rushed through an injury.

I'm actually pretty content how Dennis Gilbert has turned out. He's a really damn good bottom-pairing defenseman, IMO. Brings an element to this team (toughness / nuclear deterrent) that we definitely need, and isn't a slouch in speed and skill either. Reminds me of Deryk Engelland.

Kylington’s return would do wonders for the Flames defensive depth, that third pairing has been exploited by opponents ever since the Zadorov trade (and to a lesser extent, even before it. And Kylington is better than Zadorov.
