No Bedard or Foligno for tomorrow.

I saw the hit, announcers said it was clean (NJ announcers) but looked like the Defenders hands got high to me. Never really saw a good angle though. Thoughts?

Even his coach thought it was clean.

Why can't McDavid be hit like that?

Brendan Smith puts two Hawks on the IR in the same game.

Chicago has arguably their 8 best players out.

Does anyone have a link for the Calder race? Odd that none of the stats sites have a rookie scoring leaderboard...

Have you tried NHL.com? It's literally featured right beside the top overall points, top D points and top G stats.

Always reminds me of this. After Wayne does a dirty slew foot at 42 second mark, later in the game gets hammered clean

If that happened today to McDavid, Michaels and Debrusk would leave the booth to hit the ice along with mouth breathing fans...back then, nothing from any Oiler on the ice.

just means even more Ls will come their way. The hockey gods are frigging #######s, so I'm already resigned to that franchise going from Toews/Kane to Bedard/Celebrini.

Bedard skates into Smith’s bicep - clean as can be.

Wow, that’s a lot of hate for an 18 year old kid. Bedard is actually one of the classier elite level players.

That is pretty disappointing, sorry.

I do wonder why people do this though. Overpay for tickets on the assumption that someone like Bedard will play and won’t be injured, when you can just buy tickets the day before if the superstar is sure to play. You pay the same amount with no risk.

Sucks for the guy to have his rookie season derailed and the league to lose it’s biggest young star for the all-star game possibly
