Default Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt

OK, a little background. I like these little bundles of sugar, so every year I stock up just after Easter when they go on sale, and they actually keep pretty well in the fridge.

Last night's run produced 3 squished ones at Walmart (I didn't buy them) and that was about it.

Has anybody seen a store that has some? Hopefully in the south (I live in McKenzie Towne) but I would be willing to do a road trip.

There was a recall on them this year by Cadbury so finding them will be a difficult task.

Sorry, I should have specified I was looking for the Creme Eggs, not the Caramilk ones.

This recall ONLY applies to the three flavours of 39 gram Caramilk eggs. No other products in our Easter portfolio, including Cadbury Crème Eggs, are affected by this recall.

I remember buying them in bulk at Costco once. Also, I've seen huge bins of the creme eggs at every grocery store I've been to in the NW recently. Normally near the cashiers.

The Safeway at 36th & Memorial has a bin of them for 49 cents a piece.

(Oddly, there are also 3 packs on sale for $2.49)

A very "special" creme filling.

The link above explains it...

We are voluntarily recalling our 39g Caramilk eggs for the possible presence of small pieces of plastic from the molds used to make them.
