Default Kraken beat Flames 2-1

Can't fault the effort. There is just not enough top end / elite talent on this roster. Especially upfront.

Not gonna win a lot of games where you score one goal

Plenty of chances. Their goalie played well.

Meh.

Ah, well.

Couldn't buy a goal tonight, despite how hard Coleman was trying.

Goalie hasn't played an NHL game in a year and a half: Looks like a Vezina Trophy winner. Of course.

Way too much pissing around with the puck. They should be throwing everything they can on net.

Driedger had a solid night. Markstrom let in a softy with that second goal.

Wish Pospisil was able to bury one of those chances with a dirty goal.

BS. There is not enough giant forwards who can park themselves in front of the net to take the goalies eyes away if you are going to employ the system Huska does in the offensive zone. You have smaller skill forwards playing a perimeter/point shot system, it is just stupidity. The only guys not playing that are Zary and Pospisil, if the rest of the forward group would play the same way they do this team could score some goals.

For injury reasons 9-1 in the AHL

He is a good goalie

Which is exactly why this team needs to draft some elite talent and to do so and as painful as it is, you may need to suck hard for a few years.

Gotta find one in the third there. Very frustrating game. Thought they deserved to at least be in overtime fighting for the extra point.

Sucks because they don’t play a lot over the next 8-9 days so the gap between them and playoff bar is likely gonna grow. They could have really used this one.

Former Calgary goalies, rookie goalies, third string goalies, goalies coming off lengthy injuries..

Always a safe bet to outlast Markstrom and shut down the Flames anemic offense.

Can moan till the cows come home about offense but tonight this should've been going to OT at least given the quality of that go ahead goal.

Our goalies always have one stinker in them and usually that's enough to sink them.
