I love the way Boston plays hockey. I doubted the predicted demise that was "coming soon" by many just because they're old and only teams with youth win, and also lost Bergeron and Krejci. Now they've also lost Hall, but they just keep playing the same game they've always played and continue to win.al

All of this is also under a new coach who you'd assume may have tweaked the system they play from the year they ran away with records. Very impressive.

The Knights led 3-1 after twenty minutes with nine players each getting one point in that period. The Knights continue to pound the Stars, 6-1 now and fourteen players have at least one point. Oettinger has let in all six goals on twenty shots.

The Senators are up 1-0. Oh no, Larkin went down and appeared knocked out. He did skate off.

Scary and ugly stuff with Joseph appearing to cross check Larkin, who lay there immobilized, then Perron with a cross check in to the head of Zub.

Larkin did get to his feet but was helped off

Joseph wth 2 and Perron with a match penalty

Kane scores for the Red Wings on the power play to tie it up at 1-1.

Perron didn't even go after the right guy. But I guess when you see one of your teammates just laying there you're going to snap sometimes. Interesting to see the suspension length on that one.

I think Perron should get at least a game. The other two guys were engaged in a play. Perron cross-checked a guy in the face after the whistle.

Blues have been very sloppy with the puck. A couple of careless turnovers led to failed zone exits, which led to goals against. The first two goals were "seeing eye" wrist shots from D-Men, that are not known for scoring. Zaitzev, and Vlasic (with his 2nd career goal). Dickinson with a tap in, to make it 3-0, after a couple of blown attempts, with full control, to exit the zone. Mrazek is in God mode again. Blues have pulled Binnington with over 5 minutes left in the 3rd.

Idiot 'Hawks draw a penalty, and promptly give up a SH 3 on 1 against...3-1, now.

Brutal western road trip for the Hurricanes.
