When you know you should have gotten a penalty, head to the box and the refs tell you “no, you’re playing the Flames - that’s not a penalty”.

After a week of several controversial boarding calls in the NHL, this one wasn't as egregious but still looked like a minor to me.

Looked like boarding to me, accelerated and extended into the defender, hitting him directly in the numbers and causing him to fall headfirst into the boards. Classic charge/boarding. But it was a Flames' player who was hit, so it was obviously not an infraction. Garbage.
