Split up hubby and Lindy. It’s not working. Both need to get going

No call on the vicious two-handed chop on Kadri's hand last night. Hopefully his thumb isn't broken.

Keep bringing up young guys. They are having a bigger impact than the old guys.

In a start full of downs, Zary emergence has to be the best storyline of the season so far.
The fact he looks like a bonafide top 6 player is found money.
More youth, please.

Huberdeau-Backluck-Mangiapane had a really good expected goals for last season, with limited viewing. If you put stock into that sort of thing.
I'd try it anyway.

It's easy to see the impact that Zary has had on Nazem, all we need now is a youngster that can do the same to Huberdeau.

Expected to be out 8 weeks right? That's the middle of Dec?
He probably needs some AHL time though.

Based off of the possession numbers you have to keep Zary-Kadri-Sharangovich together as well as Pospisil-Backlund-Coleman. There's already a thread on the former and the latter has numbers that are comparable.
These guys have made things work quite well with the linemates they have. The problem is that the players Huberdeau's shown any sort of chemistry with previously are from the above list.
With who's left, you're basically left with the options of square peg in a round hole (stick him with Lindholm and have the 1st line struggle) or throw him some depth players for energy and essentially shove your 10 million dollar winger to the 4th line. But since Huska seems perfectly happy to bench him for an entire period if he's underperforming, then I'd suggest the 4th line option.

It sounded like Pelt's injury was serious and it would be something like half the season that he's out? Maybe I misheard.

Yeah, Boomer said he checked around last week and Pelletier’s injury was like a 4 to 6 month recovery type thing

Looks like Ruzicka holding Kadri's spot for practice and headed towards a healthy scratch next game.

I think we may see Duehr sit for a game. Played under 6 minutes last night, and isn't consistently playing with that same level of pace or jam that we saw last year.

The fourth line with Duehr and Greer on the wings started with piss and vinegar but seems to be on a steady decline as far as their impact goes.
