Just how good is the new Sharangovich-Kadri-Zary line?

			Well... I'm glad you asked!
PS. Shoutout to Tanev and Hanifin (when is Gilbert back?)

Kadri just needed some youth and some players who were not anchors playing with his hard nosed style. He also looks like his cares but this seems to come and go. Like Locke put it, his controller disconnects too often.
We all hoped Sharangovich would bring some energy from the Toffoli trade and Zary has been amazing. More Wranglers please!

Hopefully this line can sustain this success as long as possible to help accelerate Zary's development as the Flames could look better next season if guys like Zary, Pelletier, and Coronato have some solid NHL seasoning.

Zary has been an amazing add to the lineup and the past few games have certainly been the Kadri we were hoping to get. Nice to see Sharongovich getting more comfortable as well

They are very impressive. Impossible to miss out there. Something happens every time they're on the ice. And I'm happy this unsuspecting combination of players came out of nowhere to be a pleasant surprise for an ailing fanbase.
Even if they can be 70% this good after an eventually regression to the mean, that would be great.

I get the same feelings i did watching Gaudreau's lines when they were at the top of their game. Nice to have "fun" injected into the on ice product. The fans deserve it after last year and this start.

Didn't the same thing happen when Kadri played with Dube and Mangiapane in the beginning of last season... this is great stuff but let's see if it lasts.

Been shipping that line since day 1.

I know line 3 is proven and all but they need to try it at some point.

One thing about Kadri is that he likes to be the driver. Treliving mentioned when he signed him that he is a player who wants the spotlight. With Zary and Sharangovich, I think he found two guys that look up to him and will follow him, at least for now. He seems to often be strategizing with his line mates on the bench, and I think they are buying in.

They've been great. I'm really happy to see both Sharangovich and Kadri figure it out.
I still wish one of our players can do the same for Huberdeau.

I also wonder who's the odd man out next game and when the team gets healthy
 Zary - Kadri - Sharangovich
 Huberdeau - Lindholm - Mangiapane
 X - Backlund - Coleman
Dube, Ruzicka, Duehr, Greer, Pospisil, Coronato(AHL), Pelletier(LTIR)

I don't know who sits next game. Greer or Duehr maybe? We'll also have some players that are too good for the 4th line on the 4th line(either Dube or Ruzicka).

Kadri took some their life essence. It's the only explanation.

It works because Zary is quick and can gain the zone, and Kadri can gain the zone as well. These guys go into the traffic and it opens up Sharangovich not having to play in traffic because he gets bodied off the puck easily.
Zary and Kadri also gave him lanes to get the puck off his stick quick as well, instead of stickhandling himself into a problem.

Zary honestly isn't that great of a skater overall, but what he does show is immense amounts of poise and confidence with the puck and attacks the middle of the ice which no other winger on this team does.

He creates lanes and space by skating into areas that in turn makes the opposition back off. His smarts and desire to want to make plays and have the puck on his stick is what really stands out.

Calgary has got far to comfortable in attacking in straight lines, and not playing as a five man unit in transition which is why we have become so predictable and easy to defend. Zary has come in and changed that (atleast for his line).

Not sure if that Backlund line has ever crossed my mind, but I like it.

The difference I notice most when looking at Panthers Huberdeau, his feet are not moving like they were when he was making things happen in FLA. Not only that, he also relied a lot on the D jumping into the play. He had options he doesn't seem to have here in a nutshell.

Backlund can keep up and Coronato can snipe when Huberdeau finds him open. The key I believe is having Weegar/Andersson out there and make it a point to jump into the play. Even Zadorov is capable of that.

Instead of scouring the depths of earth for chemistry, how about they look at tapes and find ways to make their "supposed" best player the best. This guy made Sam Bennett look like Evgeni Malkin at times FFS.

My 2 cents.

That third line would get their teeth kicked in defensively
