Default Gamecube Games

Yeah I know the Gamecube is old news but I'm not a huge video game player so it works for me. I just got one to have something to play around with occasionally, I'm just wondering what games you guys would suggest. I usually like games that you can play against friends that don't have much of a learning curve.

Golden Eye: Rogue Agent
MarioKart: Double Dash
Super Smash Brothers: Melee
F-Zero

I'll be back with more later.

I've got Mario Party 7 which I think was more fun on N64. I also picked up James Bond: Everything or Nothing which seems to be pretty good but the multiplayer mode might be lacking.

I like shooting games that have a good multiplayer mode, or Viet Nam war style war games.

Are any of those Tony Hawk skateboarding games any good?

Resident Evil 4.

Only reason ever to buy a game cube (which is why my roomate decided to get one because he couldn't wait for it to come out on PS).

While RE4 is the best game. period. of this past generation there are plenty of great games on the 'Cube. Just for starters.

Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes
Mario Kart
Metroid Prime 1 & 2
Eternal Darkness
F-Zero GX
Tales of Symphonia
Battalion Wars
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
Mario Super Strikers

Although not as many games came out for the Cube as opposed to PS2 and xbox there are some real gems on the system and it has a higher quality overall game library than the xbox in my opinion. Not to mention 80% of games on the PS2 and xbox are on the Cube too.

Pikmin 1 & 2 are oddly addicting. In fact it is so stupidly addicting that at first you'll think it's stupid, and by the end, you probably will have after spending hours just staring blankly at the screen.

If you own a Gamecube and don't have Super Smash Bros. Melee, you deserve to be shot. Best multiplayer game on the system, and one of the best overall.

For single player go for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, Super Mario Sunshine, Pikmin 1 & 2, and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

Oh, F-Zero GX is an awesome racing game, but it's really hard to find now.

Avoid Mario Kart: Double Dash. It's the worst of the series.

Super Smash Bros is the best game for Gamecube.

They totally changed the engine...it's more of a first person scarefest now and very well worth purchasing...and very VERY scary!

Resident Evil 4 is great.
Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes - One of my favourite game series of all time.
Super Smash Brothers: Melee - Great Multiplayer fun.

Strategy game was can't go wrong with Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
