Good morning. No quadruplet header for the Saturday OOT,

I imagine the poutine at the Bell Centre is likely pretty poor and overpriced... Get your fix outside of the arena before the game, for dinner!

Montreal is a great place to see a hockey game. Curious how welcoming they’ll be to rival fans?

They just showed a highlight pack of Owen Tippett in the 1st period of the Ducks/Flyers game, great combination of pushing the pace, using his linemates, and winning puck battles with physicality.

You know Toronto is is the center of the hockey universe when there is an all canadian match up in Montreal and they choose to have the leafs playing away in Nashville as the 5 oclock HIC CBC game.

Pre game dinner will be Mio Pizza I flew in for my buddy who moved from Calgary a few months ago. I'll have a poutine from Banquise after game. That place is delicious. And if the Jets win an orange julep. And if they lose an orange julep.

Same as every other Canadian arena except for in Vancouver. Good natured ribbing, but nothing confrontational and they always declare their admiration and love for Jarome.

Markstrom is being interviewed live right now on Hockey Central outside on HNIC at Commonwealth with the HNIC crew. Wearing a sweet Flames toque too.

Edit - Bieksa caught not doing his research, asking Markstrom if it's harder playing in an outdoor game not knowing that tomorrow will be Markstrom's first outdoor game.

That Toronto PP is a good example of what happens when you have skill on the units. Tavares, Matthews and Nylander passing the puck quickly and Nylander finishing with a shot that isn't in the goalie's breadbasket.

Pens not winning a darn thing with Jarry in net.

Bruins appear to be just as good as last year. Wow.

Yep. Many were counting them out (just like they did last year and the year before) because they lost Bergeron and Krejci and signed Lucic.

Watching how the Preds work in the offensive zone makes me sad. What could have been...

It is one of those decisions that just makes me worried.

Conroy comes into the job with no coach, and you knew that Huberdeau struggled massively under Sutter's system.

...so you hire a guy who coaches the exact same trash, and expect things to be different...why?

It's poor decision making. Meanwhile, Brunette was right there.

Ya, he had just coached the guy you just agreed to pay $10.5M a year to a 115 point season. I thought when he talked about playing more offensively he would go that way for sure. That however would have made way too much sense for this organization to do.
