2 games plus the ejection, effectively 3 games. That’s at least fairly consistent with the Rasmus suspension.

This is also just a normal hockey play that is slightly mistimed. You have to be responsible for missing your timing obviously so I'm not arguing the suspension but it's sort of just an unfortunate play.

You win some. You lose some.

Fine margins at play. Miniscule difference between being right vs wrong. Barely wrong in this event.

There is nothing Clifton can do there that would change the outcome given his commitment to a body check and how low Hischier is. I have seen much worse get nothing. Again, the Department Of Safety is run by a former goon that has had so much head trauma his brains resemble cottage cheese so you never know what he will come out with.
