Default October 25, just one game.
It is another solo affair (third time in a week) for the Wednesday Night Hockey OOT
featuring another intra Metropolitan Division battle. Just like this past Friday's lone
game, it features the Devils again.

The Devils are getting booed after twenty minutes due to the Capitals taking a 3-0 lead. The Devils only have two shots on net. Schmid has faced eight shots from the Capitals. Coach Ruff will be yelling at his team. Ovechkin has an assist.

Tie game. Hughes with another 2 assists. 16 points in 6 games. Blistering hot to start the season. Might be the best player in the NHL right now.

Wow, the Devils put the Capitals through hell. It is now 4-3 Devils midway through the second period.

Well that was the definition of firewagon hockey by NJ, same as last year. Highly entertaining in the regular season but will get them dismantled again in the playoffs, just like last year by Carolina.
