I guess Huska got the word to tank the season, only reason it makes sense Hunt is getting this treatment.

Dear god man just put huberdeau and backlund back together. Coronato on the wing.

Lindholm with Mangoes and coleman.

Coronato being the extra forward makes me hate this lineup.

If he sits for 1 or 2 games, it's not a big deal.

It's a big deal to my desire to watch this team meter, which is all that counts.

Yeah, watching a few games from high up is a normal part of player development. So is accountability.

Player development is now priority number 1.

Huska is really skating on thin ice at the moment.

This team had better pull their heads out of their asses...PDFQ.

It is also pretty tough to adapt from an NCAA schedule to the NHL - so I think sitting him a game here and there is probably a good idea.

No! Why?
Their heads need to remain firmly planted in their asses.

Look here, regardless of anal cranial placement, lets not get bogged down in whose head is in which ass...this team is expected to compete and they dont look like they can do it.

Huberdeau needs someone on his line who can play with speed and drive the defense back.

Zary did more of that last night than any flame in the last 14 months.

Hubderdeau-Zary-Coronato

It’s not quite Johnny-Mony-Hudler, but it’s the sort of thing that could Re-energize 10.

Clearly, Mangiapane and Lindholm aren’t what he needs.

The Titan was expected to come back from bottom of the ocean, too.

But it was built like ####. (And ironically, out of hockey sticks)

Offensively maybe. Defensively - yikes.

So shelter them.

What’s the worst that can happen, we lose games?

Good.

Those three should at least put up some decent highlights.

Besides, 13/23/24 was never great defensively, and they made it to the second round their first try together.

Counterpoint: he was the perfect hire.

If the goal is to be a good team, then being a bad team first is the only way this mess is going to get there, and Huska helps with that…and who knows, maybe he develops into a better coach as this thing goes along.

Focus needs to move away from finding small amounts of success today, and shift to finding lots of success in the future.
