Well, once the Jets got up 3-1 the game was over. You can never come back from a score like that in the NHL.
It doesn't help that the Flames were running around their own zone with their heads cut off. They're obviously too dumb to learn the zone defence that every other team in the NHL uses. All those goals were totally their fault for being braindead. No goalie could have coped with that dazzling display of suckitude.
However, all those goals were also Markstrom's fault because he blows large ruminant animals. Any other goalie in the world could have made those saves, including my dead grandmother.
By the way, I don't see what the hype is about Coronato. I mean, the guy was completely invisible in the shootout.
Another rotten performance all around. Fold the franchise!
(I hope it isn't irreligious of me to put up a PGT when there wasn't a GT. Thought we could use a fresh start for complaining.)

Maybe disappointed, but nothing at all approaching any real concern. He looked great in his first game and poor tonight. What can possibly be gleaned from any of that in the preseason?

That he can cut it against an AHL team, but not an NHL one?

I know its pre-season, but I'd be sending that Dube clip to the league and asking them to clarify how that didn't count.
The most inconsistent ref's in sports, Dube is completely pushed in from behind and makes minimal contact in the process. What more can he do there? That's a goal 10/10 times.
Love to hear the rational around that one, this league needs to get WAY more consistent with the reviews/calls it was really bad last year.

But now I'm just worried about how long the Flames are going to keep going back to him in order to "gEt HiM gOiNg".
Yeah, as long as he doesn't have a long leash yet again. He's no longer our "best chance", because even if he turns it up, it's like building a house on quicksand.
Vladar has looked solid. If Markstrom is the same as last year I hope they have the courage to sit him and put whomever is playing best regardless of contract.

The Flames had the choice to ask for a review and they chose not to.
Now if they reviewed it AND said it wasn’t a goal they’d have a complaint I’m sure.

Last year? Oh it has been a problem a lot longer than just last year.
