Brutal news for a guy I was hoping would be key to the turnaround of the team. Having Pelletier bringing the youthful excitement and being a great positive influence is a tough loss for the team

I was at the game on Monday and his face looked really worried skating back to the bench and pointing to his shoulder.

Pelts is reminding me a ton of the first few years Backs had with the flames; still growing into his frame, some tough injuries and hard time cracking the full time lineup early on. It’s good lessons for Pelts even though they are hard ones to learn, he’s got a gamer attitude though very much like Backlunds and I think this will overall make a better more longterm player at the NHL level.
Posted this in the other thread; definitely sucks but what doesn’t kill ya makes you stronger, this is a tough lesson for Pelletier but he will come back stronger and better for it.

Powerplay Quarterback
Sucks for Pelletier, but I hate the move he made on the play. If you skate into the zone and suddenly cut back so you’re facing the boards, you’re putting yourself at risk. I know a lot of players do the same thing, but to me it’s just a poor decision.

4 to 6 months seems like it would be a reasonable timeline; so like Jan/Feb?
