Welcome to the annual Calgarypuck Prospect Poll!

As per usual ...

1. Rank the prospects as you like. Upside, chances, or trade value
2. I will try and do one a day which should get us to rookie camp range
3. Graduates and/or runoffs will be determined in each case
4. Please don't complain that the polls are going to deep. We go until all the prospects are ranked, so don't vote if you don't want to.

I think that we've entered another grouping here. Feels like all these guys are long shots. I think my vote sticks with those with the longest runway.

18
Hurtig, Axel
Lipinski, Jaden
Yegorov, Yegor

19
Bell, Parker
Littler, Cade

Lipinski. Big kid with skill. Only thing holding him back is possibly some speed.

I like Pettersen but I have a tough time putting him ahead of a young guy with reasonable potential like Bell when Emilio was a healthy scratch in the playoffs as a 23 year old. Bell it is.

Rather go with unproven with hope than guy that’s already proven with no chance of making it

EMP is a year away from being in non-prospect territory if he doesnt make the Flames full time this season.

For me a guy in that position is clearly behind real prospects like Bell and Lapinski who are currently on the runway EMP was on 4-5 years ago at this point.

Pettersen might be only a possible injury callup at this point... and only as a temporary one at that.

Went with Bell.

Pettersen is not a great prospect anymore imo. That Lipinski kid could be very effective in a few years. Lipinski gets my vote.

Wasn’t Pettersen kinda slick with the stick handling and puck carrying skills?
