It's ridiculous that teams with cap space aren't going after rfa this year. You can get a bargain since teams have no cap space to match literally anything.

I think Carolina is looking heavy at Karlsson and figure that they may have an opportunity to make it work. Likely still interested in Deangelo, but don't want to jump the gun if they have a chance at another upgrade.

Philly, is playing the I don't want to get to stuck with this player card.

With Pittsburgh and Carolina reported interest in Karlsson, I do wonder if Hanifin maybe plan B, particularly with a team like Pittsburgh. I could also see where Deangelo gets a league minimum deal and heads back to Carolina if they don't get Karlsson.

I think you have to have the sap space available. So teams would have to get compliant, get a signed offersheet back, and then have the other team not match.
