Ciona has demonstrated a winning pedigree and also youngest of the three.

Ciona Developing Into A Special Player
"He is a player that isn’t afraid to stand up for his teammates and can deliver not just big hits but big goals as well. Fans in Calgary should be excited if he continues to develop the way he has; it could be sooner rather than later until they see him in a Flames jersey regularly."
Thunderbirds Captain despite 5 first rounders on the Tbirds. Dylan Guenther (Coyotes), Brad Lambert (Jets), Kevin Korchinski (Blackhawks), Nolan Allen (Blackhawks) and Reid Schaefer (Predators).
Goes to Memorial Cup final.

Chance of any of these guys becoming an effective scorer is close to zero
Ciona has the best chance of becoming an energy player

Kerins spending most of the year in the ECHL lowered his ranking for me. Hope he is able to put it together in the AHL this year, but IMO there are more deserving players in this spot.

I agree on Kerins losing some luster, but we aren't sure why exactly he was sent to the ECHL. I would like to see a strong showing from him in the AHL this year to renew my faith. He did at least transition to a pro league without looking entirely out of place, so that's good to see. He displayed a lot of offensive pop in junior, but he was an older player dominating young kids, so you can't take it too seriously.
I just see Ciona or Schwindt as more likely NHLers, albeit in bottom 6 roles. Schwindt's potential likely tops out at a 3rd line winger or 4th line center, but he seems steady as she goes. Ciona oozes leadership and character, but his skills are no better than an average 4th liner or replacement level NHLer. Still, I like seeing a player who lacks skill make up for it in other ways, and Ciona does that for me.
It's Ciona this round, but it's pretty close in my mind.

Are these run-offs just a meme where people try to make it as close to a tie as possible?

All I can get

Schwindt is probably the prototypical 'tweener. Went with Ciona for the additional intangibles.
As an offensive forward, Kerins has an opportunity to move up this season in the absence of Phillips and (presumably) Pelletier, but has some competition with the new crop of rookies.

So thoughts?
I'm thinking call it a two way tie and throw Kerins back into the mix today.
That work?

Would throw Kevin's back in the mix and let Ciona win the tie break.
