Probably the toughest choice for me, but it ultimately went to Pelletier, who not only played well in junior, but also dominated the AHL at a PPG level as well as getting in Calgary’s lineup and not look very much out of place at all. Of course growing pains are expected next season, but high chance he’s off the prospect list and a full time NHLer.

No slight to Honzek, I like him. I just think Pelletier warrants the 3 spot when he’s never really struggled anywhere he played. His stock had always risen.

First tough decision for me. Went with Pelletier since he has shown to be able to generate offense in the AHL and has looked decent so far even in the NHL. It was between him and Honzek. Honzek does look like he might have a higher upside, but Pelletier has gone and proven that he can contribute at the next level.

The next debate would be Zary vs Poirier for me once these two are off the board.

Yeah I went with Pelletier as well.

If a guy is a top 5 pick he goes to the top, but a mid first rounder (even in a stacked draft) has to have a solid D+1 to move up beyond what looks like upper roster NHLers.

Honz is the new shiny toy. JP has put in the work and has seemingly made the jump. There’s no guarantee Honz can do this yet. Played it save and went Pelletier

I mean Pelletier went in as a rookie and was almost point per game in the AHL, and looked really good in limited opportunity in the NHL. Also worked his way up to the first line in his World Juniors with Canada. I gotta go with him here.

To me Pelts is an NHLer, so it's a bit awkward placing him on this list. I doubt he becomes a 30 goal guy one day, but he has a good chance at playing 400+ games.

Honzy has the chance to be a top-line guy, so I voted him. Next round will be Pelts for me, then it gets interesting.

Chose Honzek because I believe he has a larger upside than Pelletier, even though the latter feels more like a sure NHLer at this point. I am a huge fan of Pelletier as a player and a person and I think he's going to be vital to this team, but Honzek's potential combined with his size and skillset are just too great to ignore.

Voted Honzo.

Pelletier is up next.

Pelletier has the higher floor but Honzo's ceiling is sky high.

I love Pelletier and I think he will be an impact player but I picked Honzek, I just think he has potential to be a star

Honzo. Higher upside and a greater chance of hitting it. Pelletier will be an NHLer but it still remains to be seen whether he finds enough offence to be middle six or a tweener.

Went Honzek because I still think the top end upside is higher.

Pelletier more of a sure thing but voting on upside.

Peleltier, then Zary next for me though.
